Spoiler Alert: Spider man is a massively long video game and as of this video launching the DLC is hitting so maybe you didn't finish it so today we're gonna go over the bullet points of the important bits of the Spider man video game which I will say is probably my favorite portrayal of Peter Parker to date that version of the character so today we're gonna be covering the plot to the Spider man video game and I hope you guys enjoy New York City twenty-three-year-old Peter Parker is awakened by a police alert app on his phone the NYPD are finally moving in a Wilson Fisk the kingpin of crime-- realizing that he might be needed he pulls on his spider suit and he leaps out the window not without his toast though breakfast is the most important meal of the day this tower is heavily fortified and kingpins men are not pulling any punches Spider man arrives all the police are pinned down by small arms fire and rockets after a quick chat with Captain Yuri Watanabe Spider man swings into action taking out Fisk's men allowing the police to push forward as Spider man fights his way up the tower towards the kingpins office.

He saves a few innocents and he stops a few bombs and he lends a hand with the police assault finally arriving at the big man himself Fisk doesn't seem overly concerned and he continues to work leisurely at his desk until he finally acknowledges Spider man finally the two begin their epic battle with spider-man's speed barely keeping him ahead of Wilson Fisk's sheer size and strength after his defeat the police handcuffed and lead Wilson away but he warns Spidey that he kept order in the city and without him there's going to be chaos sure you're the bad guy let's let you run free anyway now that Fisk is behind bars peter has to do his actual job superhero ring doesn't pay the bills you know already late he quickly zips across the city heading to Octavius labs where he and dr. Otto Octavius have been working on a prototype for prosthetic limbs today is the day that they demonstrate for their government financial backers who are less than impressed when the prototype failed Peter tries to cheer up Otto knowing that get the tech working and it seems that kingpin may have been telling the truth as a new gang has been seizing Fisk's illegal operations.

By force across the city but there's no time for that now and Peter heads over to the feast cente where Aunt May works and we are now introduced to Martin Lee May's boss and possibly the nicest person in New York City for now unknown to Peter his ex-girlfriend Daily Bugle reporter Mary Jane Watson had a tip that somewhat Fisk's illegal contraband has been moving through an auction house and she decided to investigate slipping past the curator she manages to find a file that's been hidden in the base of a statue where else would you keep your hidden files and it mentioned something called The Devil's breath before she could escaped with the file strange men and demon masks arrived waving guns and demanding the file from the curator arriving quickly.

Peter manages to distract the demons long enough for Mary Jane to escape but not before they get the file from her after getting her to safety - to decide that they should investigate these demons together even though they were recently broken up and they both know that this is just a good tyre plot reason for them to be hanging out again reaching out to Martin Lee Peter asks about the strange masks and what they symbolize becoming cryptic Martin explains that the masks represent inner demons and he warns Peter that he shouldn't get involved hoping to work up the bugs with the prosthetics Peter then returns to help dr. Otto Octavius when he arrives though he finds a mayor Norman Osborn father to his friend Harry Osborn who is there to shut down Otto's work cut the funding and seize Otto's research turns out that Otto and Norman don't have the best of histories following that based on a tip from URI wantanabe Peter decides to check out Fisk's warehouse at the docks and he's joined by NYPD officer Jefferson Davis a good cop who was there to help Spidey search even bringing a warrant the two quickly searched through the warehouse finding a hidden vault underneath the floor that houses a small Army's worth of weapons unfortunately the vault is in the process of being cleaned out by the demons who get away in a truck swinging through the city.

Spidey catches up to them just as the truck hits a gasoline tanker sending a careening into a subway using his considerable strength he begins to pull the tanker back up saving the driver and everyone in the subway the demons use this distraction to their advantage intending to run over the wall crawler and Jim like well a buck but officer Davis comes to the rescue crashing his squad car into the demon truck saving spider-man's life and becoming a hero days after these events and exhausted Peter returns home to find that he's been evicted before he can figure out where he's going to sleep for the night Eve receives a phone call from an old flame Felicia Hardy the black cat she's back in town and up to her old tricks she tricks Peter into locating several cat dolls which he turns into urea at the police headquarters black cat then uses them to shut down the alarms at the police station sneaking into the evidence lockup and stealing back her own equipment while irritated that he had been tricked into helping her steal things this probably isn't the last that he'll see of her after his heroic acts mayor Osborne awards officer Davis's heroism at a re-election rally attended by Peter Mary Jane and Davis's wife and son Miles Morales before the event can take place though mayor Osborne receives a threatening phone call detailing how he and the city will suffer he quickly leaves as several black cars arrives Peters spider sense begins to go berserk pushing through the crowd he sees members of the demon gang and Martin Lee transforming into the villain Mr. negative Davis's son Myles calls out to his father as a suicide bomber is on the stage with him a hero to the end Davis pushes the bomber away trying to desperately protect those on the stage with him as more bombs go off Peter tries to protect Mary Jane but he too is not unconscious by the explosion.

In this event several people including officer Davis are killed in the attack in the aftermath of the demon bombing the group has grown bolder and are in an open war throughout the city in an effort to protect the city and mostly himself mayor Osborne has hired the sable pmc group private military corporation upon their first meeting silver sable is less than happy to see Spider man but before anyone has hurt URI steps in to help him staying Sables trigger-finger while she's not happy about it she lets Spider man off with a warning it's now martial law in the city and with the constant threat of demon attacks and the sable mercs arresting anyone for anything peter has no new leads so he decides to investigate Lee's offices at the peace center while doing a little snooping he discovers that Martin has a secret room within his office and it's here that he finds evidence that apparently Martin didn't like Norman Osborn so much and was planning this attack for some time working together Peter and Mary Jane discovered that the devil's breath is actually a virus that was created by Oscorp when they tried to create a cure for genetic diseases and Martin Lee is planning on using it on he city later on Myles is on his way to feast where he decided to volunteer as a way to cope with his father's death with the city in turmoil it's not strange that he runs into a few thugs in an alley.

While he tries he doesn't put up much of a fight luckily Spider man comes along and after a few words of wisdom miles is on his way through his eyes we see that the city has been under martial law due to the sable mercenaries and one questions if it's truly safer with them here after Martin manages to steal The Devil's breath from sable Peter must face against him at Grand Central Station defeating him at disarming the bomb that he has set to spread the virus throughout the city with more in in custody the city should be safer after getting word from dr. Octavius who seems to be in good spirits Peter heads over to the lab and finds new equipment and an Otto who seems to have renewed his plans for his prosthetics he's developed a neural interface which can manipulate the prosthetics better than anything they've developed before Peter isn't convinced though and thinks the interface will cause too much strain on the human brain and it seems to have a strange effect on Otto's attitude luckily Peter convinces Otto to hold off until they work out the kinks Peter doesn't get any time to relax.

However though learning that the devil's breath has been stolen again before he can deal with it though a prison break takes place at Rikers Island swinging over Spidey discovers that dr. Octavius is behind the escape calling himself dr. octopus now using his new mechanical arms he releases all of the prisoners and spider-man's greatest foes well six of them anyway as this sinister six team up Peter can't take them all at once and he's knocked unconscious allowing them to escape after spider-man's defeat dr. octopus releases The Devil's breath in Times Square everything's gone to crap and the city is now under attacked by the demons gang roaming bands of escaped convicts Sable mercenaries with itchy trigger fingers and an infection spreading like wildfire Spider man tries desperately to protect those who need it while trying to locate Otto and his new best friends after fighting and defeating team-ups a vulture electro and rhino scorpion mary jane and peter then try to find a cure for Devil's breath to discover that Martin Lee was actually an early test subject for The Devil's breath the reaction to this year and his powers caused a burst of energy which killed his own parents this is what caused his obsession with revenge against Osborn after learning the location of the antivirus Spider man faces against Mr. negative before he can destroy it and after defeating him Dr Octopus arrives and beats Spidey unconscious taking the cure and Osborn away wounded Peter is brought to the peace center by Mary Jane.

Where he receives medical treatment regaining consciousness he learns that Aunt May has been infected and she doesn't have long to live Spider man has no choice and returning to Octavia's labs he builds himself a new suit of spider armor and he sets out to confront Doctor Octopus after a brutal battle on top of Oscorp tower Peter recovers the antidote and in defeat dr. Octavius reveals that he knew Peters secret the entire time and he pleads for Peter to help him Peter turns his back on his former mentor and he returns to Beast the amount of the cure is too little though and it will take several days to make more using the original as the basis Peter is torn he stands over a dying on May finally deciding that he can't sacrifice the city for her and it's then that she tells him that she always knew about his secret she was proud of what he had done with his life and with tears in his eyes he says with her as she slips away three months pass and the city is largely returned to normal Peter and Mary Jane decided that they were going to give their relationship another shot and miles and Peter have become good friends miles reveals to Peter that he has gained spider powers prompting Peter to show Miles that he isn't alone and that's when we are left with Norman Osborn who enters his secret labs and a vat of liquid floating his Harry Osborn whose friends thought that he was travelling overseas in your Harriers covered in a strange black substance and Norman tells him that they will find a cure as a sad and Norman presses his hand against the tank the black goo reacts.
